Category & Cut-off Times

To ensure a fair and competitive event, the following cut-off times have been set for each race category:

 

🏁 RACE - Elite Men: 6 Hours - Age 18 and Above

🏁 RACE - Elite Women: 7 Hours - Age 18 and Above

🏁 RACE - Men - Masters: 7 Hours - Age 40 years and Above

🏁 RACE - Amateur Men : 4 Hours - Age 18 and Above

🏁 RACE - Amateur Women : 4 Hours -  Age 18 and Above

🚴 Individual Events – Every participant competes independently against the clock and fellow riders.

🔹 Only manually driven pedal bicycles are allowed.

🔹 No e-bikes or motor-assisted bicycles permitted.

• All finishers completing within the stipulated cut-off time will receive the Tour of Stars Coorg Classic Completion Certificate.

• Participants who do not finish within their category’s time limit will still receive a Participation Certificate.

💰 Cash Prizes:

• Attractive cash prizes will be awarded to the top 6 positions in Individual Race Categories in Elite and Masters.

Individual Race Category Rules

1️⃣ Category Selection:

• Participants must select their race category based on age and gender.

2️⃣ Cut-Off Time & Relegation:

• Any participant who does not finish within the cut-off time will not be eligible for prizes and will automatically be relegated to the Touring Category.

3️⃣ Category Merging or Cancellation:

• If there are less than 4 participants in any category, the organizers reserve the right to:

  • Club two categories of the same gender.

  • Cancel the category entirely.

4️⃣ Self-Supported Race:

• This is a self-supported event, meaning riders are expected to carry their own essentials.

• Limited technical support may be provided on request, subject to the availability of technicians.

5️⃣ Personal Support Team:

• Riders may have personal support teams at their own cost.

6️⃣ Support Vehicles & Assistance Rules:

• Support vehicles are NOT allowed to tag or ride along with riders.

• Support vehicles must be stationed at designated control points.

• Any support during the ride must be with the permission of race officials.

Cancellation Policy

🔸 No cancellations or refunds after 10th April 2025.

🔸 Refunds (if applicable before 10th April) will be processed after deduction of payment gateway fees.

🔸 No cancellation or refund for Jerseys after 10th April 2025, as orders would have already been processed.

 

Terms & Conditions (To be read and signed by ALL riders)

I/We accept the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS for participating in the Tour of Stars – Coorg Edition:

1️⃣ I/We confirm that we will be 18 years or older by 25th April 2025.

2️⃣ I/We have read and agree to abide by the Race Rules and Regulations.

3️⃣ I/We agree to comply with the traffic and road laws and regulations of India.

4️⃣ I/We fully understand and agree that I/We am/are entering this event entirely at my/our own risk and accept full liability for any risks. I/We will not hold Breakaway Sports, any participants, organizers, committee members, agents, or servants responsible for any loss, damage, or injury caused in relation to my/our participation.

5️⃣ I/We accept the right of the Event Officials to take decisions regarding health and safety and to stop any rider or crew from continuing if deemed necessary.

6️⃣ I/We understand that wearing a helmet, using rear blinkers, front light, and a reflective vest is mandatory at all times during the event.

7️⃣ I/We agree to comply with all safety requirements outlined in the event rules.

8️⃣ Participation is subject to approval from Breakaway Sports after payment of registration fees. The organizers reserve the right to refuse or cancel registration, in which case a refund will be processed (after deducting payment processing charges).

9️⃣ I/We agree to sign the waiver form and submit required documents at the time of Pre-Event Registration.

🔟 I/We understand that cheating (as determined by event officials) will result in immediate disqualification.

1️⃣1️⃣ I/We agree to pay the registration fees as per the event tickets.

1️⃣2️⃣ I/We understand that failure to complete the mandatory pre-event registration, equipment inspection, or attend the pre-race briefing will result in cancellation of participation without refund.

1️⃣3️⃣ The event organizers reserve the right to cancel any category due to low participation. In such cases, participants may choose to switch categories or receive a refund (less payment charges).

1️⃣4️⃣ I/We agree to take insurance coverage for life, personal accident, and third-party liability for all riders and crew members.

1️⃣5️⃣ No refunds will be given for cancellations after 10th April 2025.

1️⃣6️⃣ All participants and their respective crew accept full responsibility for their own health under all circumstances.

1️⃣7️⃣ All participants and crew agree to abide by any health norms as directed by relevant authorities.

1️⃣8️⃣ I/We agree that all decisions made by the event organizers and Breakaway Sports are final in all matters related to the event.
